Health and Healing… A Healthy Soul

About ten years ago my health took a nose dive. I was plagued with hair loss, insomnia, migraines with vomiting, fatigue, depression and three months of walking pneumonia.

I really didn’t think I would live much longer. In fact I was so concerned, I took steps to make sure my husband and children would be taken care of if it happened.

I had gone to every type of doctor you could think of and no one seemed to know why I was ill.

After a year of desperate attempts to find a cure for all the odd and unexplainable symptoms, I began to question if my problems were more of a spiritual condition.

Quite honestly, I was living in sin.

I was living a life unacceptable nor glorifying to God. I knew I had to turn things around. One of the main components I believe led to so much sickness, was… unforgiveness.

I had blamed too many people for all my problems. Instead of bringing them to God and asking him to remove my bitterness, hatred, rage and rebellion, I wanted to brew in it all and feel sorry for myself.

I knew I had to make changes or I might possibly meet my maker.

I realized I had no right to seek my own revenge. As I began my spiritual journey in submitting to God, He sent other people, books, and sermons my way.

It wasn’t long after I started making right choices that my health improved. A small ad in a newsletter I received, No Greater Joy Ministries, described a new supplemental vitamin. The vitamin the magazine raved about was…

This vitamin contained many of the minerals that most of our bodies deplete over time. I had tried everything else, I figured, “Why not?” After only a month of taking the Supermom vitamins, I had more energy, I was sleeping well, no more hair loss, migraines disappeared and so had the depression. I believe God sent this vitamin to help me return to a healthy state of Mama.

If your health isn’t what it should be, ask yourself; “Do I have unforgiveness in my heart? Am I bitter or resentful toward anyone? Have I been rebellious against authority figures in my life such as my parents, husband, or church? Am I doing what I need to do, to be healthy?”

God has many ways to deal with us and one of them can be our health. If God chooses to deal with us in this way, we can look to His word for wisdom and comfort. We can also research what products and medical attention may help, and mostly we can pray. But we can’t give up, live defeated, or make excuses.

God has a plan for our lives, the good and the bad.

I’m grateful now for the sickness that I went through. I’m thankful for the year of wonder
ing if I would live or die. It was a year of turning tables for me. It was the year that I finally got serious about my relationship with God.

During that season, God guided and matured me.

Soooo… if you are having problems with your health and think you need some help… first come before God.

Ask Him to deal with your secret sins, unresolved issues, to prod and poke as much as He needs to. Allow Him to operate and take out whatever has contaminated your soul.

Next, I would never stop seeking treatment whether it’s trying some of these products, or researching others until you feel comfortable trying one or two. SuperMom worked for me. There’s help for you too!
